Synopsis
Nell Harper is the black housekeeper of the Kanisky family ... a father (who is also a Chief of Police) with three daughters. The family would also take in a boy, Joey. The series was revamped in season five with major cast and locale changes and Joey learns that he has a brother, Matthew, who moves in with him and Nell.
