Synopsis
Another version of the popular story based on the novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett, this time from Russia. A 19th century American boy is discovered to be the heir to a grand aristocratic estate in England. The movie shows how he wins the heart of the local common folk and eventually his dour elderly grandfather.

9 / 10 9 / 10 Easily my favourite version of this story. Aleksei Veselkin was absolutely perfect for the role of Cedric as was Stanislav Govorukhin as the Earl.
