Synopsis
Adapted from the writings of Australian author Alan Marshall (Hammers over the Anvil) the story is set at the end of the Austro-Hungarian empire. The son of a horse trainer for the emperor spends all his free time riding. Then he contracts polio. He faces long terms of hospital and surgery and having to use crutches or a wheelchair. But his friends help him to get back in the saddle.
