Synopsis
Adaptation of J.T. LeRoy's semi-autobiographical short stories. A young boy named Jeremiah (played by twins Cole and Dylan Sprouse) has a junkie hooker for his mother who manages to regain custody of him from a foster family then embarks on a series of misadventures in a surreal version of the American South defined in terms of sex, drugs, violence and old-time religion.

3 / 10 10 / 10 If you like the Sprouse twins, you'll LOVE them in this movie. They both rank in my top 10. My fav. scene is where Jeremiah is preaching on the downtown sidewalk, Dylan is SO HOT! in that scene and the following scene where he gets in the truck. This is definitly a MUST SEE for all Sprouse fans!

10 / 10 The film is as incomprehensible as the text from Jer. 17:9. The kids did a great job, however. That is the only reason for me to rate this film above average.
My Movie Rating: 7 / 10 The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things Is one of my favorite movies. I am a huge fan of Cole and Dylan Sprouse and it was great to see them doing a dramatic role for once. And they did a fabulous job at it. This is a must see movie. Jimmy Bennett was also amazing in it. Great movie with three great young actors.
