Synopsis
Follows the story of a young boy who dreams of getting enough money to buy his dream horse. One summer Jay finds four chimps on the prairie who have fallen off a circus cart. He later learns that there is a big reward for them. Enough to buy the horse..however, as time goes on he befriends the chimps and it becomes apparent that Jay can't bear to part with them.

A great story based on the book by the same name, written by Wilson Rawls (Where The Red Fern Grows), I read the book many years ago, saw the movie a few years ago, i loved it except for one thing, there was one very funny chapter that wasn't in the movie, the boy goes looking for the Chimps and finds them at a Still, he finds a corn substance that he's not sure about, so he tastes it, and next thing he knows, he's drunk! watch the movie first! then read the book, otherwise, you won't like the movie!
