Synopsis
Young Pietje is a troublemaker, always getting into mischief, but has a good heart. One day while running from the law after another series of pranks he meets a poor boy who has no shoes. He gives the boy, Freckle, his own shoes and the two become close friends. Meanwhile, a local newspaper having trouble gaining its readers' interest decides to feature Pietje in a front-page article. The story creates a lot of interest so they begin printing a series of extravagant stories about Pietje...

7 / 10 8 / 10 6 / 10 Quinten Schram and Frensch de Groot are very appealing as the two young leads but the action is rather slapstick and the acting by some of the adults is often too hamish.
