Synopsis
After her brother is killed during 9-11, Kim wants a better environment to raise her son Clay. Her New York firefighter husband has been distant since that fateful day, and the rift between them seems irreparable. Kim and Clay move in to her dad's rural mid-western home. Things only get worse as Clay rebels and long lost issues surface. Clay befriends a local girl and an Arab boy, but not before his rebellious attitude creates problems, and Kim giving him a dog only makes matters worse.
