Synopsis
Mrs Satenik is a schoolteacher in a provincial Armenian town. Like most other people in the wake of the 1988 earthquake, she is coming to terms with terrible bereavement, having lost both her husband, and her children. By chance she meets 9 year old Gagik, a most persistent and determined orphaned boy, who decides that she will be his mother. He eventually convinces her to adopt him. Then he sets out to find her a new husband.
