Synopsis
George, a 10 y/o white boy is kidnapped by a native tribe and taken to their village. He is stripped, painted black and held under water, as part of his initiation into the tribe. Renamed "Blauvogel" (Blue Hawk), he spends several years being raised by the Indians, who treat him well. Eventually, he is returned to his English family, but finds the readjustment difficult, particularly as they do not have the same respect for nature as the American natives.

10 / 10 5 / 10 Sorry, but I found the story shallow, the directing static, the acting wooden, and the depiction of the Indians condescending; a film scarcely good enough for the kids' Saturday morning cinema.
