Invaders from Mars (1986)

Karen Black plays Hunter's Mother in the movie, She really is his Mother, and I think his Dad was the Producer/Director also.

It (1990)

I must say! Tim Curry scared the bajeezees out of me! I had nightmares about that demented clown! and I was in my late 20's when I first saw it. The boys do well in the movie, especially Brandis and Faraizl! If you like thrillers with boys in them, this the movie is for you!

Jack (1996)

A fun romp with boys! All the boys were cute, but I thought Jeremy was the cutest of the group! Robin williams IS just big kid at heart! so he was perfect to play Jack! and I'm sure he and the boys grew very close during the production.

I think the funniest scene is when the butterfly lands on the window sill!

Jaws (1975)

One of my favorites! I didn't get to see this in the theater, but my older Sister did, she said that when the shark appeared at the stern of the boat and surprised Brody, everyone in the audatorium screamed and the popcorn went flying!

It has been said that this movie almost caused the extinction of the Great White shark, because it cause a phobia on shark attack!

Joe the King (1999)

Noah was a vetran actor by the time he appeared in this film! he was outstanding! and very cute I might add!:) a gripping story of a boy on the verge of manhood, trying to deal with trouble at home, and problems at school! That early scene where the teacher gave him the spanking in front of the class made me want to do the same to her! where does SHE get off doing that! much less in front of the class! with all the abuse and violence Joe had to suffer, no wonder he started acting out, by stealing. a very entertaining movie!

I try to be VERY sparing with the 10/10 rating, but I was so impressed with this film I just had to give it a 10!

Joey (1985)

The only thing even remotely good about this movie was Joshua Morrell, his cuteness, but not his or anyone elses acting! This movie is lousey, it wasn't believeable AT ALL!

A kid talking to his dead Dad on a toy telephone? come on! how DUMB do they think we (The Audience) are? I only watched this departure from reality because I thought Joshua Morrell was really cute, apart from that, I'll NEVER watch it again!

Johnny (2010)

The rating scale doesn't go low enough for me to rate this waste of time! I only gave it a 1/10 so it would register, Don't Bother is an under statement! ALL the acting in the film was lousey! and I only watched the first half hour! Jerry Phillips was adorable, but even that wasn't enough for me to finish watching the movie. I want to see something else starring Phillips so i can forget all about this film! I don't like giving bad ratings/reviews of movies, to me it's no differant than someone making a rude comment about my beloved vintage automobile, my Van is MY work of art, and I'm sure this movie was someone elses work of art.

Josh and S.A.M. (1993)

Noah did well as the Athletic younger brother! my favorite scene was when Sam finds out that Josh had been lieing to him about everything and he punches weaker, older brother in the stomach!

Joshua (2007)

I thought it was a decent movie, I had a little trouble with the abuse scene in the park. As far as the plot of the film goes, I wondered if it would have been better if it were established in some way that Joshua had "Unattached Syndrome"!

A fun movie! full of adventure! surprisingly the funniest scene in the movie (for me) was where Peter runs out to the shed to get an axe OUT of the shed!

Jurassic Park (1993)

I remember when this opened in theaters, kids of all ages were thrilled to go see it, for about the first 30 min.s into the movie, it's wonderous adventure! then suddenly the power goes out, an the wonderous adventure story turns into a run for your life horror story, even this part of the movie had very exciting moments, some of the T-Rex and Valoso Raptor scenes were done with life size Animatronics ( the head of the T-Rex was mounted on something simular to a Backhoe).

Jurassic World (2015)

I loved the Brotherly chemistry between Nick and Ty! I'm sure they became very good friend during the filming, both are very dedicated actors! Ty was at his cutest in the film, I've followed his career ever since seeing the first movie i saw him in, which was Insidious (2010)! he is for sure one of the best actors of his generation.

The Karate Kid (2010)

Unfortunately, Ralph Macchio was 21 or 22 when he starred in the first K-Kid! so he WAY didn't qualify for this Database. Have to agree with Cinefan, the 1st one was the best, but I still like this too, Jaden is so cute! and I'd like to know who played the boy who gave him the skateboard in the departure scene! watch the DVD extras, Jaden's Dad Will was on location in China with him!

Kes (1969)

I was very impressed with Bradley's performance! I found him to be a very handsome boy, A little older than I was expecting, but nonetheless a remarkable talent! I found the ending a little disturbing, but it depicts the hard life that underprivlidged people, especially kids can face!

An all around great movie!

I was impressed by Jeremy's performance, he was adorable outwitting the bad guys, this movie was filmed in Washington State north of Seattle. a great kids movie
