The Last Day of Summer (1984)

As most of the members know, I've been wanting and waiting to see this gem of a film almost since I joined this site! WOW Graham was very impressive! his screen presence was captivating! I also have Lent in my Que and can't wait to see it. Now that I own this movie, I can watch it over and over, any time I need a Graham fix! This movie is the ultimate boy movie in my opinion. 10/10

Lifted (2010)

I have waited 2 years to see this wonderful movie! I'm sure when it was in theaters, there wasn't a dry eye in the house! this movie will defininately tug at the heart strings! there is a bit of a shocker! I discovered Uriah on youtube one day while I was surfing that site, He's a beautiful and very talented boy!

at the end of the movie, a dedication is ahead of the ending credits, that pays tribute to our Men and Women serving in the armed forces, I think some of that tribute should go to the children of those heros too! because they sacrifice too when a parent goes off to serve their country!

Little House on the Prairie (1974-1983)

This show was made back when Holesome family shows were still much appreciated, this show only had a few boys as regular cast members, but had lots of boys guesting. Here's a tidbit: Jonathan Gilbert is the younger Brother of Mellisa Gilbert, but they were both Adopted by the Gilberts, their Sister Sara Gilbert is the Gilberts only Natural Daughter! Michael Landon grew up in a very disfunctional family, his Mother was said to be a nuerotic Narrsisist, that chasstised him at every chance. Michael had a problem with bedwetting well into his teens, her solution for this problem was to hang his wet bed sheets out the front window of his room for ALL to see! Because of Michael's childhood and family life, he was all the more interested in making shows that promoted strong family values, this is why he made this show! This show is AS much a part of Landon's legacy, as it is Laura Ingalls Wilder's!

This show is 1st rate in my book, I watch it ALL the time, it's on 2 or 3 channels on my cable system! 10/10 because it's a very good series

Madison (2001)

10/10 for Jake! I love him in this movie, he is SO cute! he has a fair amount of screen time. I' m a sucker for boys in Polo T's, and he wears one in a few scenes. I can also relate to his character in the scenes where he was bullied by McMain's Character, thats just the kind of bullying I endured in school. To make a correction to the synopsis, Jim McCormick had been a Speed boat driver in is earlier years, but had a crash in a race, and almost didn't survive, then gave up driving an became the head mechanic. The Hydro-Plane boat was actually owned by the town of Madison, Indiana, ie. "The Miss Madison" Jim McCormick stepped up as the driver only after the the town lost their last driver, and was in danger of not being in the race. I'm sure you've gathered by now, that this movie is based on a true story, it's about Jim McCormick and the town the of Madison, Indiana! That's all I'm going to say about the movie because I don't want to reveal too much, It's well worth a look, if for nothing else, for the adorable Jake Lloyd, for the grown-up actors, Jim Caveasel was outstanding.

The Man Without a Face (1993)

Gibson works very well with kids, He's the Father of a large family, 12 or 15, I think! I first saw Nick in the tv movie, "Woman With a Past" and have followed his career ever since. for this movie he gets the 9/10 because he's the central character. Mel gets a 10/10 because for me, it goes without saying, Mel is the best! he just doesn't make a bad movie in my book!

Motorama (1991)

Jordan was great! he was a great boyactor, I just wish he had done more with his career! But he's not the first boy to try acting, and decide at some point, not to continue. :(

3/15/2014: I just watched this delightful comedy again, and I noticed something I didn't the 1st time I saw it, Gus had at one point what I think was supposed to a "5 o'clock shadow"! which I thought was hilarious! because he didn't even have any Armpit hair! Gus was supposed to be an adult, I think!

After this movie Jordan did a TVM called "A Woman Scorned: The Betty Brodrick Story" and he was in an episode of the tv series Matlock called Mr. Awesome, he played a junior cartoon artist whose Mother is put on trial for killing her ex- "Sleeseball" boyfriend! Jordan was a wonderful boy actor and I wish he had done more! I feel this movie was by far his best work.

My Side of the Mountain (1969)

Teddy carries the movie quite nicely, he had been a vetran of acting for many years when he appeared in this movie. For the Trekkies of our BA forum, you might recognize the young woman Teddy's character befriends, she played Dr. Pilaski on the Star Trek series Next Generation for I think 1 or 2 seasons, but it don't remember her name. The only part of the movie I found a little hard to believe was his friendship with the "Wild" black bear, even a half grown bear cub would have a dangerous thing to befriend alone and unarmed in the wilderness! other than that, I love this movie and watch it every chance I get!
