About a Boy (2002)

I'm retracting the "Don't Bother" status! The first time I watched this film, I didn't get much past the 1st 30min. I just watched it again, all the way through this time, I have to say I can relate to Marcus, I WAS him at his age! e.i. the Social Outcast at school! So I decided to give this movie a break, and raise my rating a point!

666: The Child (2006)

Except for BooBoo, I was NOT impressed with this movie, it's a cheep retelling of the Damien story, and as much as I like BooBoo Stewart, I dont think he fit the roll very well! He didn't have that mystic look about him that Jonathan Scott-Taylor had! JST should've recieved an academy award for his portrayal of Damien!

Bad News Bears (2005)

I didn't care that much for this "Remake" I don't think it even starts to compare to the original! I thought Billy Bob did well, but I he didn't compare to Walter M. I didn't even like any of the sequels to the first movie, I don't plan to see this movie again.

Unless your just interested in seeing the boy, don't bother, it's a very cheap version of the Damien movies!

The Big Green (1995)

"A rose by any other name, is still a rose"! this movie is JUST a Soccer version of Bad News Bears, I only watch it once because Chaucey and Bug were in it. Really! how many times can they tell the same story, or story Idea? this movie was a waiste of their time, and a waiste of mine!

The Butterfly Effect (2004)

The only things remotely good about this movie were Logan and Jesse, they were more convinceing than the adults!

The definition of the title is: based on the notion that a single flap of a Butterflies wing in Africa, could cause a hurricane on the other side of the planet!

The Cell (2000)

A 1980's film called "Dreamscape" was the same storyline as this movie, but much, much better! If anyone is enterested, it starred Dennis Quaid, Max Von Sidow, and Tommy Yothers

Colton and Jake were watchable, but other than that this movie was lousey.

Gladiator (2000)

TOO much blood and violence, for me, Spencer was ok but I didn't like the movie as a whole, because of all the gore. For me, the Director does not have to use Gore to tell a story, I actually didn't watch the entire movie because of the gore, there Is a point where I draw the line, and this one crossed that line! I personally DON"T recommend this movie.

Completely unoriginal! It's like they were desperate to make money, so they took parts of the script from the 1st movie, don't bother!

Joey (1985)

The only thing even remotely good about this movie was Joshua Morrell, his cuteness, but not his or anyone elses acting! This movie is lousey, it wasn't believeable AT ALL!

A kid talking to his dead Dad on a toy telephone? come on! how DUMB do they think we (The Audience) are? I only watched this departure from reality because I thought Joshua Morrell was really cute, apart from that, I'll NEVER watch it again!

Johnny (2010)

The rating scale doesn't go low enough for me to rate this waste of time! I only gave it a 1/10 so it would register, Don't Bother is an under statement! ALL the acting in the film was lousey! and I only watched the first half hour! Jerry Phillips was adorable, but even that wasn't enough for me to finish watching the movie. I want to see something else starring Phillips so i can forget all about this film! I don't like giving bad ratings/reviews of movies, to me it's no differant than someone making a rude comment about my beloved vintage automobile, my Van is MY work of art, and I'm sure this movie was someone elses work of art.

The size to weight ratio made it completely UNbelieveable, A 50bls. child vs. a 150-200bls. adult(s), come on! really! did the Director really think the audience is that gulible?

I did not like this film, the ratings scale doesn't go low enough to show how much really disliked this movie, at the end of the 1st film, Richard and Emiline were merely asleep, not dead, this was a poor excuse for a sequel!
