Synopsis
Emil is a mischievious little boy who lives on a farm with his parents, his little sister Ida, a maid named Lina and Alfred the farm-hand. He has a heart of gold and always tries to be good and helpful, but often manages to get it wrong and all he really wants is to explore new stuff and see how things work. His father has a short temper... So Emil often runs to the joiner's workshop until his father calms down. We follow Emil and his family during more than a year on their farm about 100 years ago in Sweden.

8 / 10 8 / 10 An entertaining tv-series in 13 episodes, appealing to the very young, though grown-ups will undoubtedly enjoy this work too. It was based on Astrid Lindgren's book and that is a recommendation in itself.
