Synopsis
Benny is new in the town and still has no friends. Often he roams through a nearby forest which has a silent sea inside. One day he discovers an injured otter in the coppice. When Benny wants to save him, he meets the obnoxious Malte and his gang, who are hunting the animal. Benny flees with the otter to an old empty shack. At school, Benny meets Constanze, who is very active in animal rights. Together they want to look after the otter.
