Synopsis
In the middle of the summer of 2006, nine-year-old Sven experiences a strange morning. The shower stays cold, lights don't turn on and the fridge leaks. The power is cut off. That poses a problem for Sven because he has invited his friends to come and watch the upcoming soccer match between the Netherlands and Ivory Coast. His mother unfortunately cannot pay the bill. Sven decides to look for alternative solutions himself.
