Synopsis
Young Jim Hawkins is caught up in search of the buried treasure of the buccaneer Captain Flint, in this adaptation of the classic novel by Robert Louis Stevenson. Unfortunately, a large number of Flint's old pirate crew are aboard the ship, including Long John Silver.

My Movie Rating: 6 / 10 I saw this one a long time ago. It is a classic by today's standards, probably the most sincere adaptation of the original novel by R.L. Stevenson.
My Movie Rating: 8 / 10 Bobby Driscoll is such a wonderful actor. He has that sweet innocence on his face and in his voice. He is a contrast to Long John Silver……and as the story goes. It is almost impossible to find this type of cinema photography in Hollywood today. The shades of darkness and the use of color are not used today except in a few films from else ware in the world.
