Synopsis
A series that examines why seemingly ordinary people commit brutal crimes. In the first season, Detective Harry Ambrose delves into the past of a troubled young mother in order to determine why she fatally stabbed a man during a beach outing - and why she has no memory of committing the crime. In the second season, Ambrose returns to his hometown after a young boy (Elisha Henig) murders his parents in a motel room by poisoning them and then ritualistically rearranging their bodies.

- This series is based on the 2007 novel of the same name by German crime writer Petra Hammesfahr (b. 1951).
