Synopsis
Whilst outdoors playing one day, 8-year-old Richard Clayton (Max Brazier) gets into a car with a man. Later that evening, when he returns home, his mother's hysterical reaction to finding out that he got into a car with a stranger is so intense that Richard suffers a complete amnesia concerning what happened earlier that day. Ten years later, and still suffering from the reactions of others to what they assume must have happened, Richard decides that the only way to unlock his memories, and thus lift the curtain on his past, is by recreating the fateful day from his childhood. So, when he comes across a young boy (Nicholas Hoult) playing outdoors, he invites him into his car for a drive...
