Synopsis
"A harsh world. Hard to watch sometimes, which I always like. Amongst all this, a beautiful boy with a lovely face, rising somehow above the pain." (Andrea Arnold, director of "Fish Tank" and "American Honey", commenting on "The Cull") A poor farmer, desperate to continue his family?s farming traditions, forces his son (Jonathan Mason) through a series of painful exercises, hoping to make him the man he wants him to be.
