Synopsis

When ogreish poacher Bedanec captures dwarfish Brincelj and Kekec's best friend Ro?le (Boris Ivanovski) - putting the former in a cage and making the latter into his houseboy - it's up to the perpetually cheerful and unfailingly brave shepherd boy Kekec (Zlatko Krasnic) to free them from captivity by outwitting Bedanec with his 'tricks'.

Notes

Based on the characters in the Kekec trilogy of books (published 1918, 1922 and 1924) written by Slovene poet and author Josip Vandot (1884-1944), but not based on the story of any particular one of the books
This was the third of a trilogy of films about Kekec directed by Jo?e Gale, preceded by Kekec (1951) and Srecno, Kekec! (1963).
