Synopsis
When D?ker beats his horse to death, the shepherd Krischan - who is popular with the boys - protests D?ker's cruelty, only to have D?ker respond by suing the village for tolerating the presence of Krischan - a man without papers - an act which causes the shepherd to leave. Three of the boys - intelligent Martin, poor Johannes, and stupid Hermann - swear revenge...
