Synopsis

With the help of his friend Ro?le (Martin Mele), brave shepherd boy Kekec (Velimir Gjurin) matches wits with a reputed sorceress to obtain a potion that will cure the blindness of his employer's daughter (and Ro?le's sister), Mojca.

Notes

Based on the 1922 novel "Kekec on the Wolf Trail" (Kekec na volcji sledi), which was the second of a trilogy of novels about Kekec written by the Slovene writer and poet Josip Vandot (1884-1944)
This was the second of a trilogy of films about Kekec directed by Jo?e Gale, preceded by Kekec (1951) and succeeded by Kekceve ukane (1968).
This movie was the first ever Slovenian feature film in colour.
