7 / 10 Entertaining enough, Max Records did a good job playing a very awkward character.
My Movie Rating: 7 / 10 Kinda disappointing. I think Jonah Hill can be pretty funny and, obviously, I also had high expectations for Max Records. But the movie wasn't that funny and Max's character could've used more depth. *SPOILERS* While I appreciate the positive portrayal of a young gay character, it was dealt with in a very superficial and unrealistic way. For the boy to go from total denial to acceptance in just a few minutes after a single conversation was pretty dumb. Missed opportunity.
