6 / 10 7 / 10 Some excellent acting; by Miles Heizer, Kevin Bacon and Marcia Gay Harden, makes up for a fairly improbable storyline. Worth watching once, but it's tough viewing at times, too depressing, and not something I'd be keen to watch a second time.
My Movie Rating: 8 / 10 I really liked this movie! It was somewhat typical for Hollywood (happy endings and all), but still great.
My Movie Rating: 8 / 10 Fine performances by all the main cast. Hollywood shows that it can do it right. This movie is a definite winner, a real emotional masterpiece, going straight to your heart. It has been a while since I was moved to tears so often and with such intensity.
