Synopsis
Young boy Bill Peck adores his father and tries to be good, but the arrival of Bill's cousin Horace upsets Bill's plans. Horace's brattish ways result in Bill rather than Horace getting in trouble.

7 / 10 Jackie Cooper in all his freckle-faced, flaxen-headed, slightly pudgy glory as the all-American daddy's boy dealing with his cousin, who's a spiteful know-it-all and a cissy mummy's boy to boot. The cousin is played by Jackie Searl, who had a great talent for acting smug and specialised in such roles, e.g. Tom Sawyer's cousin Sid. The plot is somewhat reminiscent of The Rival, a story from the second Just William book, More William (1922).
