The Zookeeper

Synopsis
Set in a war torn city during the Balkan War. Jonah Ludovic is a custodian at a small municipal zoo. He spends his time caring for the animals and writing poetry in his journal. One day, Zioig, a wounded ten year boy, arrives looking for shelter. The boy is a survivor from a 'cleansed' village, and a hardened child soldier. Ludovic reluctantly nurses Zioig back to health, dreading the consequences of this sanctuary.
