Synopsis

Set in Greece in 1966 against the backdrop of a volatile political environment. Unable to cope after the death of her husband, Dimitris? mother relies on him to act as the head of the household. 13 y/o Dimitris decides to leave childhood behind and goes with an older friend to visit a prostitute. Meanwhile his mother finds solace in the arms of a new man with links to the right wing dictatorship in power. Dimitris takes revolutionary action of his own against his mother?s new partner.

One of the better Greek movies in recent years. Konstantinos Papadimitriou is an appealing young actor and is very effective in the central role.
