Synopsis
10 year old Johnny tricks a younger boy into swapping his large magnet for an "invisible watch." He then feels guilty about the trick he played on the little boy so he "donates" it to a man building an iron lung for the hospital. This inventor then tells of the unknown boy's "generosity" which results in a nationwide search to find him so that he can be awarded a medal. Johnny overhears bits and pieces of conversations which make him conclude there is a manhunt for him.

Delightful.

9 / 10 One of those rare British boy films that came out in the fifties and is typical of the time. A pleasant boyhood adventure even showing scenes of the now long gone famous Liverpool elevated railway.
